If you prioritize high performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the Gigabyte Aero 5 offers a more powerful GPU which is essential for these activities. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less convenient for travel. On the other hand, the Dell XPS 13 Plus is more portable with a longer battery life and is plenty capable for general use, but it won't handle intensive tasks as well as the Aero 5. The XPS 13 Plus is usually more expensive, so if budget is a concern, you may lean towards the Aero 5. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 provides better gaming and 3D capabilities primarily due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics processing unit (GPU), compared to the Dell XPS 13 Plus which comes with an Intel Iris Xe GPU, less suitable for demanding graphics tasks. Both systems have comparable screen refresh rates, but the GPU plays a very important role in gaming performance, making the Aero 5 a stronger option for gaming and 3D applications.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aero 5 for software development, while the Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen for general use.
For general use, the Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a combination of resolution and brightness that makes it very enjoyable for everyday tasks and media consumption, however, the Gigabyte Aero 5 excels with higher brightness and resolution, enhancing the viewing experience. In engineering and design, both laptops display a wide range of colors accurately, crucial for detailed and color-critical work, though neither is perfectly suited for gaming or 3D applications due to their modest refresh rates, which can limit the smoothness of fast-paced visuals.

How the Dell XPS 13 Plus and the Gigabyte Aero 5 compare to other laptops
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
