The Dell XPS 13 Plus is a premium laptop that's more expensive, offers higher performance for general use with its advanced Intel processor, and is more portable due to its lighter weight and smaller size. Its OLED display with a higher resolution and touch capability is ideal for professional use in design or photography, offering excellent color accuracy and contrast. However, the battery life is moderately long. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A5, while less expensive, provides strong performance with its AMD processor and Nvidia graphics card, making it better suited to gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. It has a larger screen with a higher refresh rate for smoother motion but is heavier and less portable with a shorter battery life. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for general use, while the Gigabyte A5 is good.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus excels in general use mainly due to its high-quality OLED screen, substantial RAM, and powerful CPU, which enhance its performance and user experience, though its portability and battery life are notable as well. The Gigabyte A5, while still good for general use, focuses more on gaming capabilities with a dedicated graphic card, but has a lesser quality IPS screen and less RAM, making it slightly less optimized for tasks outside of gaming, albeit it has a larger screen and is less portable due to its heavier build and larger size.

The Gigabyte A5 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus, with its Intel Iris Xe graphics and a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz, is less suited to gaming and 3D applications compared to the Gigabyte A5, which boasts a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 144 Hz, better aligning with the very important factors for gaming and 3D performance. Despite this, the Dell XPS 13 Plus's higher-quality CPU and screen could still make it suitable for less demanding gaming and some 3D tasks, balancing the somewhat important factors of CPU and screen quality.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus excels in general use and engineering with its high resolution and brightness, alongside wide color gamuts that ensure precise color accuracy, crucial for design work. In contrast, its lower refresh rate is less suited for gaming and 3D tasks, where fluid motion is key. The Gigabyte A5, while offering satisfactory resolution and adequate brightness for everyday tasks and engineering applications, also falls short for gaming and 3D due to a refresh rate that doesn't match those typically preferred in high-paced visual environments.

"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
