The Dell Latitude 14 7490, being less expensive, may appeal to those on a tight budget. It has a solid build, a full HD screen, and reliable performance for everyday tasks. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo, while more expensive, offers a premium experience with a higher resolution screen that may be better for creative work. It is also a 2-in-1 convertible, which adds versatility for those who may use it as a tablet. The higher cost comes with more modern features and better overall performance, which might be more suitable for demanding applications and multitasking. Give Feedback

LaptopMag

Henry T. Casey | April 2018
"The Dell Latitude 7490's got the speed you need (and then some), a keyboard that's comfortable enough for writing all day long and a battery that supports a full 8-hour workday. If only the display were brighter and it managed heat better. If you need every minute of battery life you can get, the extended-battery version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T480 lasts 8 hours longer than the Latitude 7490, but its display is much less colorful."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | July 2022
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
