The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Latitude 5330 2-in-1 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" typically features a more powerful CPU, additional RAM, and a superior GPU compared to the Dell Latitude 5330 2-in-1, which results in better performance for demanding engineering and design tasks, and provides a high-quality screen for detailed visuals. While the Dell offers greater portability and a convertible design, the Legion's emphasis on higher-end hardware specs makes it a preferable choice for performance-intensive applications, even as it may come with a heavier build and potentially louder operating noise.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Dell Latitude 5330 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Latitude 5330 2-in-1 offers an adequate display for everyday tasks with a balance of resolution and brightness but might not impress with its color range or sharpness for detailed engineering work, and its refresh rate and resolution fall short for immersive 3D experiences. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" boasts enhanced color accuracy and a sharper image beneficial for both general usage and technical design projects, yet its limited refresh rate restricts the fluidity required for high-end 3D gaming. While both laptops provide a decent visual experience for general and professional use, neither is optimized for the high refresh rates demanded by gaming and 3D rendering.

How the Dell Latitude 5330 2-in-1 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
