If you desire a more lightweight and portable laptop with longer battery life, the Dell Latitude 5330 is suitable, especially for business and general use. However, the MSI Cyborg 15, though heavier and with a shorter battery life, delivers better 3D and machine learning performance due to its superior graphics, making it more fitting for gaming and engineering tasks. Keep in mind the Cyborg has a larger screen and higher overall power for intensive tasks, whereas the Latitude focuses on a balance of performance with portability for typical office work. The MSI Cyborg 15 is good for engineering and design, while the Dell Latitude 5330 is only fair.
The Dell Latitude 5330 is well-suited for engineering and design due to its sufficient RAM and capable integrated GPU, along with a high-quality IPS screen which offers decent color coverage and contrast for detailed work. The MSI Cyborg 15, on the other hand, boasts a more powerful CPU and dedicated GPU, better suited for demanding engineering applications and design software that can utilize the higher screen refresh rate, but it's heavier, which affects portability.

The MSI Cyborg 15 has a better screen than the Dell Latitude 5330 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
If both the Dell Latitude 5330 and MSI Cyborg 15 have fair screen quality for general use, it's likely because they offer acceptable resolution and brightness to handle everyday tasks like browsing and office work, but may lack the vivid colors and sharpness of higher-end displays. Their performance for engineering and design is also fair, suggesting they cover a reasonable range of color spectrums like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, but aren't top-tier in color accuracy, which is crucial for professional photo editing and graphics work. However, the poor quality for gaming and 3D on both models indicates they likely have lower refresh rates, which means they're not ideal for the smooth visuals needed in fast-paced games or intensive 3D modeling where both higher refresh rates and better resolution contribute to a more immersive experience.

How the Dell Latitude 5330 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
