If you need a laptop with a larger screen and you don't mind a heavier device, the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 could be the right choice, as it comes with a 16-inch display and a substantial build. However, if portability is key for you and you prefer a laptop that's easier to carry around, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s might be a better fit with its smaller 13.3-inch screen and lighter weight. For tasks that demand touchscreen interaction, the Lenovo ThinkBook also includes this feature, unlike the Dell. The trade-off with a bigger screen and possibly more comfortable viewing on the Dell comes with reduced portability compared to the compact and more travel-friendly Lenovo. Give Feedback

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Inspiron's fair screen for general use is due to its decent resolution and brightness, but it may lack the sharpness and color fidelity desired by more demanding users. Although it offers fair quality for engineering and design with adequate color reproduction, professionals who require higher color accuracy for detailed work might find it lacking. For gaming and 3D, its lower refresh rate hampers the smooth visual experience often desired in fast-paced environments, making it less ideal for those applications. The Lenovo ThinkBook's good screen quality in both general use and engineering stems from better resolution and color gamut coverage, ensuring crisp images and more precise color representation, vital for detailed design work; however, like the Dell, its lower refresh rate limits performance in gaming and 3D tasks where smoother motion is crucial.

However, both laptops are equipped with powerful processors, ample RAM, and have similar battery life, making them both good options for general use, with the Dell providing a bit more workspace and the Lenovo offering a more travel-friendly option with a sharper display.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s and Dell Inspiron 16 5635 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5635's gaming and 3D capabilities are limited by its integrated AMD Ryzen GPU, which is not as powerful as a dedicated gaming graphics card, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate that can't deliver as smooth visuals as higher refresh options. Similarly, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s also has an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU and a standard 60Hz refresh rate, constraining it in the same manner, with neither being ideal for high-end gaming or professional 3D applications.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
