The Dell Inspiron 16 5635 is generally less expensive and offers a slightly larger, high-resolution 16-inch screen with a taller aspect ratio, making it good for multitasking and productivity. It's also thinner and lighter than the Lenovo Legion 5 15", promoting better portability. However, it incorporates integrated graphics which are adequate for general use but not for demanding gaming or 3D tasks. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" comes with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card that provides superior performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning applications; although it's somewhat more expensive, heavier, and the display, while smaller, has a higher refresh rate which is a plus for gaming. If your work involves engineering software or tasks that demand graphical power, the Legion 5 would be more suitable despite its additional cost and lower portability. If you prioritize portability, general use, and a larger display while being budget-conscious, the Dell Inspiron would be the more appropriate choice. Give Feedback

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
