The Dell Inspiron 16 5635 offers a good balance between price, performance, and portability for general use with its lightweight design and long battery life, but its integrated GPU might not be ideal for heavy 3D tasks, machine learning, or gaming. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, while costing more, provides superior performance with its high-end CPU and dedicated graphics card, making it an excellent choice for gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering work, though it is heavier and slightly less portable. Both have similar RAM and storage capacities. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
For general use, a laptop like the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 with an average display will suffice for daily tasks like browsing and video streaming, but it may lack the vibrancy provided by higher-resolution, brighter displays like that of the Gigabyte Aorus 15X. In engineering and design work, accurate color reproduction is crucial for the integrity of visual projects, so the Gigabyte's better coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB would be an advantage over the Dell. However, for gaming and 3D applications where rapid movements are common, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, which are critical for smooth visuals in fast-paced scenarios.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
