The Dell Inspiron 16 5630, while being more expensive, offers a larger screen, higher resolution, more storage, and better processing power, making it suitable for intensive tasks like engineering or video editing. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is slightly less expensive, lighter, and more portable, but comes with a smaller screen, less storage, and less powerful processor, which is sufficient for general computing tasks or basic student needs. If portability and budget are your priorities, the Lenovo might be the better option, whereas for performance-driven tasks, the Dell is the superior choice. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5630 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is poor.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5630, with its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, with its Vega 6 graphics from AMD, both offer fair gaming and 3D performance for laptops without dedicated gaming GPUs. Both models have the same screen refresh rate of 60Hz, which is adequate but may limit the smoothness in fast-paced games; the Dell has a larger and slightly higher resolution display, which can offer a better gaming experience, but the CPU and screen quality are less capable than high-end gaming laptops.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5630 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5630 offers a high-resolution screen with vibrant colors and sufficient brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks and professional engineering or design work where clarity and color accuracy are key. How the Dell Inspiron 16 5630 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
