The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is significantly less expensive and offers good general use performance with solid battery life, making it highly portable and suitable for everyday tasks like web browsing, office work, and media consumption. Its AMD processor and integrated GPU handle everyday use and light gaming well, but it isn't ideal for demanding 3D applications or intensive engineering software. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77, although more expensive, provides much better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering applications due to its powerful Intel CPU and Nvidia RTX GPU. It also has a higher refresh rate display, which is better for fast-motion content and gaming, but with a trade-off in battery life and weight, making it less portable. If performance in high-end gaming or professional applications is a priority and the budget allows, the MSI Stealth GS77 is a better choice; otherwise, for general use and better portability at a lower cost, the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is a suitable option. Ultrabook Review

Derek Sullivan | January 2023
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | April 2022
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
