Choosing between the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the MSI Raider GE67Hx largely depends on your needs and budget. If you are looking for a more affordable option that is quite portable, with decent general use performance and a longer battery life, the Dell Inspiron could be suitable for you. However, if you require a high-performing laptop for 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive gaming, and don't mind paying a higher price and dealing with a heavier device with shorter battery life, the MSI Raider GE67Hx with its powerful processor and graphics card would be a better fit. The MSI Raider GE67Hx has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When evaluating screen quality for general use, the Dell Inspiron 16 5625's display may offer adequate resolution and brightness, but it lacks the superior panel technology that provides the vibrant colors and viewing angles found in the MSI Raider GE67Hx, leading to a less impressive visual experience. For engineering and design, where color accuracy is crucial, the MSI excels with a wide color gamut, offering richer and more precise colors necessary for professional creative work, whereas the Dell falls short. However, for gaming and 3D tasks, the MSI's excellent attributes are outweighed by a lower refresh rate, which makes fast-paced visuals less smooth compared to laptops with higher refresh rate screens, making it less ideal for those specific activities.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the MSI Raider GE67Hx compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"If you've wanted to dip your toes into PC gaming but can't let go of your console roots, the MSI Raider GE67 HX stakes out an attractive middle ground between the speed and versatility of PC gaming and the comfort and ease of a console. If you can overlook its noisy fans and chintzy touchpad, the Raider provides a powerhouse entertainment experience with an OLED screen that tops most household TVs. It's not cheap, but this gaming machine is more than the sum of its parts."
