If performance, especially in gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks, is a priority for you, the Lenovo Legion 5, with its Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card, would be a stronger choice than the Dell Inspiron 16. However, the Dell offers good value and dependable performance for general use and less intensive tasks with its AMD Vega 8 integrated graphics. The Lenovo Legion may have a heftier build and shorter battery life due to its focus on performance, whereas the Dell will be lighter and potentially more portable with potentially longer battery life, making it easier to use on the go. Keep in mind that the Dell may be more cost-effective, though investing in the Lenovo could yield better graphics performance for more demanding software and games. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a display that offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks but falls short in color range and refresh rate, making it less suitable for color-sensitive engineering work and high-speed gaming. Whereas, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" provides a higher quality display with better resolution, brightness, and wider color gamut, meeting the needs of engineering and design professionals, yet its lower refresh rate might not match the demands of competitive gaming where fluid motion is crucial. For a user focused on general productivity and professional design work, the Lenovo is a superior choice, but for a gaming enthusiast, neither laptop hits the mark in terms of 3D performance due to their lacking refresh rates.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
