The Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is a good budget-friendly option with respectable performance for everyday tasks and light productivity, thanks to its 11th gen Intel i5 processor and integrated graphics. It's also more portable due to its smaller screen size and lighter weight compared to the MSI Stealth GS77. However, if you need a laptop for more intensive tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI Stealth GS77 with its i7 processor and dedicated Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card will perform significantly better. It also features a larger and higher-resolution display which is great for those purposes but keep in mind that it's less portable and has a higher price tag. The Stealth also boasts a higher capacity battery and additional features such as a per-key RGB keyboard, which could be of value if you prefer these premium features and can justify the extra expense. The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 provides superior gaming and 3D capabilities owing to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a screen with a very high refresh rate, which are critical for smooth and immersive gameplay. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 15 3530, while adequate, is limited by its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and a lower refresh rate, making it less ideal for intense gaming and 3D applications.

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 outperforms the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for engineering and design due mainly to its superior CPU, double the RAM, and a more powerful GPU, which are crucial for demanding applications and multitasking. Additionally, the MSI has a higher resolution screen that offers greater detail, complemented by better color accuracy and brightness, enhancing visual fidelity for design work; however, this comes at the expense of greater weight and reduced portability compared to the lighter and more compact Dell.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3530, with its fair screen, fits everyday tasks with adequate resolution and brightness, but it may lack the wide color gamut needed for precision in engineering and lacks the high refresh rates and resolution desired for smooth 3D experiences. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77 delivers sharp and vibrant visuals suitable for detailed engineering work and general use thanks to its higher resolution and better color coverage but doesn't provide the high refresh rates that gamers and 3D professionals seek. Therefore, the MSI is recommended for users prioritizing screen fidelity and color accuracy, while those focused on gaming or 3D should consider alternatives with faster refresh rates.

"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
