If you prioritize high performance for tasks like 3D design, machine learning, or gaming, the MSI Stealth GS66, with its more powerful processor and advanced graphics, will deliver better results than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530. However, the Stealth GS66 is also more expensive and slightly heavier, which might be a consideration if you value portability and affordability. The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS66 outshines the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for engineering and design because it has a more powerful CPU, the Intel i7 versus the Inspiron's i5, and a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU versus the integrated graphics on the Inspiron, leading to significantly better performance for demanding tasks. Additionally, the Stealth's superior screen quality, with higher brightness and color coverage, makes it more suitable for detail-oriented design work, albeit with a slight compromise on portability due to its increased weight.

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3530's screen, being fair for general use, indicates it likely has decent resolution and brightness but lacks the exceptional clarity or color fidelity that more premium displays offer. Its fair rating in engineering and design suggests it covers basic color gamuts adequately but doesn't reach the wide color spectrum professionals need. For gaming and 3D, the Dell's poor screen quality can be attributed to a lower refresh rate that doesn't support the smooth visuals demanded by these applications, despite having an acceptable resolution and panel type for the task.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
