The Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is typically more affordable than the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, making it a more budget-friendly option. If you are primarily using your laptop for everyday tasks like browsing, office applications, and streaming, the Dell may suffice. However, if you require high performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, gaming, or engineering tasks, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X will deliver significantly better results but at a higher cost. The Aorus is also likely to have a shorter battery life due to more powerful hardware and may be less portable than the Dell due to potentially heavier and bulkier design considerations that come with high-performance machines. Choose the Dell for cost savings and general use, and the Gigabyte for demanding applications, accepting the tradeoffs in price, portability, and battery life. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X outperforms the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 in gaming and 3D due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics and higher screen refresh rate, leading to smoother visuals and better handling of complex graphics. Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron has modest gaming capabilities with its Intel Iris Xe graphics and a lower screen refresh rate, which could be less suitable for demanding games and 3D applications.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X surpasses the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 in engineering and design use primarily due to its superior CPU and GPU, which are essential for demanding tasks such as 3D modeling and data simulations; the Aorus has a high-end Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX GPU while the Inspiron settles for a mid-range Intel i5 and integrated graphics. Additionally, the Aorus 15X offers a higher resolution and refresh rate screen, which provides clearer and more fluid visuals, an important aspect for design precision, though it may be less portable than the lighter and thinner Inspiron.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3530, with fair screen quality for general use, likely offers a decent resolution and acceptable brightness but might lack superior panel technology, affecting viewing angles and color reproduction. For engineering and design tasks where color accuracy is key, its fair screen quality suggests it covers a moderate range of color gamuts but may not compete with higher-end displays. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X's poor suitability for Gaming and 3D is due to its lower refresh rate, which is less optimal for the smooth visuals required despite having a very good resolution and panel type for other uses.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
