The Dell Inspiron 15 3525 is less expensive and has a larger screen, which makes it suitable for general use and multitasking, but is heavier and therefore less portable. The XPG Xenia 14, while more expensive, offers better performance for intensive tasks such as 3D work, machine learning, or engineering software, and it is also more lightweight and portable, making it a solid choice for on-the-go professionals. The XPG Xenia 14 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3525 offers acceptable clarity and brightness for everyday tasks but lacks the resolution needed for fine detail in engineering applications and the color range that designers often require; additionally, its refresh rate is not high enough to support the smooth visuals critical for gaming. The XPG Xenia 14 provides strong visual performance with higher resolution and a wider color gamut for more accurate design work, although like the Dell, its screen's refresh rate isn't optimal for the fast-paced action in gaming and 3D rendering. Both are less suitable for 3D and gaming due to the emphasis on color accuracy and resolution over the higher refresh rates that these uses demand.

The XPG Xenia 14 and Dell Inspiron 15 3525 are both only fair for engineering and design.
The XPG Xenia 14 outperforms the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for engineering and design due to its superior CPU, double the RAM, and a higher-resolution screen with better color coverage, making it better suited for CPU-intensive tasks and detailed visual work. While the Dell provides adequate performance with its AMD Ryzen CPU and integrated graphics, its lower RAM and screen quality make it less optimal for demanding engineering software and design applications, even though it may offer a larger screen and slightly better portability.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 and the XPG Xenia 14 compare to other laptops
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
"The Xenia 14 is a top 14-inch laptop under 1 kg. ADATA isn't exactly known for its laptops and so we weren't expecting much from its first 14-inch Ultrabook. With that said, we're pleasantly surprised by how well the Xenia 14 looks and performs. Not only is it incredibly light, but it has a color accurate 16:10 display, high CPU and GPU performance, easy RAM and SSD serviceability, plenty of port options including Thunderbolt 4, and long battery life. It packs a lot of punch and features considering the size and weight to be better than even the LG Gram series."
