The Dell Inspiron 15 3525 is a budget-friendly option with moderate performance suitable for general use and has a touchscreen. It's lighter and offers a better battery life than the MSI model, making it more portable. The MSI Raider GE78 is a high-end laptop with top-of-the-line performance, especially suited for 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering tasks, and gaming, but it's heavier and less portable. The higher cost of the MSI includes a larger storage capacity, much more RAM, and a premium build quality. If portability and cost are your priority, go for the Dell. If you need exceptional performance and specialize in intensive tasks, choose MSI. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE78 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Dell Inspiron's fair screen quality stems from adequate resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks, whereas the MSI Raider's very good quality is due to a higher resolution and brightness, enhancing visibility and clarity. In engineering and design, the MSI Raider excels with wider color gamuts ensuring more accurate color reproduction, a crucial factor for precise visual work, unlike the Dell Inspiron which only provides average color range. However, for gaming and 3D applications where high refresh rates are critical, both the Dell Inspiron and MSI Raider offer poor performance, leading to less smooth imagery during fast-paced scenes or when manipulating complex 3D models.

"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
