For general use, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 offers a more vibrant touchscreen display with higher resolution and color accuracy, along with a more portable and premium design, which is great for everyday tasks and productivity. However, it comes at a higher price point. The Dell Inspiron 15 3511, on the other hand, provides a larger screen and more RAM, which can be beneficial for multitasking, but it's less portable and has a lower-quality display without touch capabilities. If performance for tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning is important to you, the Surface Laptop's more powerful processor and dedicated GPU will serve you better, despite its lower RAM which can be a limiting factor for some intensive tasks. The Dell, with its additional RAM, might handle larger datasets or more open applications better, but its integrated graphics won't match the performance of the Surface's dedicated GPU for graphics-intensive tasks. Consider the Surface for its superior build, display, and performance in a compact form factor if you're willing to pay more and possibly upgrade the RAM later. Opt for the Dell if you need more RAM out of the box and a larger screen for a lower price, accepting tradeoffs in portability and display quality. Give Feedback

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 13.5" compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
