If cost is a major consideration and your needs revolve around general use such as web browsing, document editing, and light media consumption, the Dell Inspiron 15 may suit your needs without breaking the bank. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15, while more expensive, offers superior performance suitable for 3D modeling, machine learning, gaming, and other intensive tasks. Additionally, high-end laptops like the Razer often have better displays and build quality, but may be heavier and have shorter battery life compared to more budget-friendly options like the Dell. Consider if the premium features of the Razer are essential for your usage or if the Dell provides enough functionality for your daily activities. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is only fair.
The Razer Blade 15 outperforms the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 in gaming and 3D tasks primarily because of its superior GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, which is more powerful than the Dell's Intel i5-1135G7 Iris Xe graphics. Additionally, the Razer has a higher screen refresh rate, offering smoother visuals during rapid movements in gaming or 3D rendering, compared to the Dell's lower refresh rate which might not be as fluid.

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is good.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511, with a moderate processor and integrated graphics, suits engineering and design tasks that are less graphically intensive, and its ample RAM allows for smooth multitasking, making it a budget-friendly option with reasonable performance for less demanding applications. In contrast, the Razer Blade 15, boasting a more powerful processor, robust dedicated graphics card, and higher screen resolution, excels in engineering and design, especially for tasks requiring more computational power and vivid graphics, although at a higher price point and with slightly less portability due to increased weight.

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 offers an adequate display for everyday tasks and productivity with reasonable resolution and brightness, but it might not feature the wide color gamuts necessary for precision in engineering and design and lacks the high refresh rates required for a smooth gaming and 3D experience. The Razer Blade 15, on the other hand, provides a vibrant and sharp display for general use and professional work in engineering and design due to its higher resolution and broader color coverage, but falls short for gaming and 3D applications as it doesn't prioritize the ultra-high refresh rates preferred in these scenarios. Ultimately, those valuing color accuracy for creative work should lean towards the Razer, while casual users may find the Dell sufficient, but gamers and 3D enthusiasts will need to look elsewhere for displays tailored to their high refresh rate needs.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
