The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 likely has satisfactory resolution and brightness suitable for everyday tasks but doesn't cover wider color gamuts crucial for engineering and design work, which require more accurate color reproduction. While the MSI Stealth GS66 also offers a high-quality display with better color accuracy for professional design tasks, its screen may fall short for gaming and 3D due to a lower refresh rate that can't deliver the smooth visuals demanded by these applications. Both laptops might not fulfill the needs of gamers or 3D designers who prioritize fluid motion and fast-paced visuals above all else.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
