The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 has a larger screen and may have more storage space than the MSI Prestige 14, making it a potentially better choice for general use and multitasking, especially if you want to store a lot of data directly on your device. However, the MSI Prestige 14 is lighter and more compact, which makes it more portable. If you're frequently on the move, the MSI might be more convenient to carry around. The Prestige is also newer and might have a slight edge in performance and battery life, which could be beneficial if you're doing tasks like video editing or running demanding applications. The Dell may cost less and could be suitable if you're on a tighter budget or simply prefer a bigger screen for activities like watching videos or working with larger spreadsheets. Consider how much you value portability, performance, and battery life against screen size and cost when making your decision. Give Feedback

The MSI Prestige 14 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511, with its fair screen quality, offers suitable resolution and brightness for everyday tasks like web browsing and document editing, but may not provide the wide color gamuts needed for precision in engineering and design, and its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for the smooth visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. The MSI Prestige 14, on the other hand, delivers higher screen resolution and brightness, making it more comfortable for general usage, and its better color reproduction supports professionals in engineering and design with more accurate color representation. However, like the Dell, the MSI's lower refresh rate could lead to less fluid motion in games and when working with 3D models, which could detract from the overall experience in these scenarios.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the MSI Prestige 14 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The MSI Prestige 14” is excellent for productivity and business use cases, but it is not ideal for creators or visual content editors. The Prestige was able to power through days of email, spreadsheets, and text documents without breaking a sweat and was a joy to use. The additional ports were a breath of fresh air, as most laptops seem to be moving towards just Thunderbolt ports. The security options made signing in effortless, with two quick, more secure, and faster options than even the most complex alphanumeric passcode."
