The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and MSI Cyborg 15 cater to different needs. If cost is a major concern and your usage primarily involves everyday tasks like browsing, office applications, and video streaming, the Dell might satisfy your needs while saving you money. On the other hand, if you are looking for higher performance for activities such as gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI Cyborg 15, despite being more expensive, will provide you with the extra power needed for these intensive tasks. However, be aware that higher performance laptops like the MSI Cyborg often have less battery life and are heavier, which could affect portability. Always weigh the importance of performance, battery life, and portability against the price to determine which laptop better aligns with your specific requirements. Give Feedback

The MSI Cyborg 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is only fair.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 has an integrated GPU and a lower screen refresh rate which limits its capabilities for gaming and 3D applications; whereas the MSI Cyborg 15 comes with a dedicated Nvidia RTX graphics card and a higher refresh rate screen, making it better suited for these tasks. While the Dell has a higher RAM which benefits multitasking, the significantly better GPU and screen refresh rate of the MSI enhance visual fluidity and graphic performance for gaming and 3D work.

The MSI Cyborg 15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and MSI Cyborg 15 may have screens with adequate resolution and brightness for tasks like web browsing and document editing, but they likely lack the high-end panel type that would make them stand out for general use. Engineers and designers require accurate color reproduction for their work, and if both laptops only offer "fair" screen quality, this implies that they don't provide the full color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB needed for professional-grade color work. For gaming and 3D rendering, a high refresh rate is crucial for smooth visuals, and since both are described as having "poor" screen quality in this regard, they probably have lower refresh rates, which along with only moderate panel types and resolutions, would not be ideal for immersive 3D experiences.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
