Based on the comparison between the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the HP 250 G10, the Dell offers better performance with a higher end processor and graphics, which could be advantageous for more demanding tasks like photo editing, light gaming, or multitasking with many applications. It also features a higher-resolution screen, which offers better image quality for watching videos or working with visual content. However, the Dell is more expensive and heavier, which may impact its portability, and these attributes should be considered if budget and ease of carrying are important. Although the HP has a lower screen resolution and less powerful processor, it is more affordable and slightly lighter, which may be preferable for basic tasks like web browsing, document editing, and casual use, particularly if cost and portability are priorities. Both laptops run Windows 11 Home and have similar battery size, suggesting that day-to-day usage on battery life might not vary dramatically, but this can vary depending on the specific tasks you perform and the efficiency of the processors. How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the HP 250 G10 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
