If performance, particularly for graphic-intensive tasks like gaming or 3D modeling, is a priority for you, the Gigabyte Aero 5 with its powerful processor and superior graphics card would be a more suitable choice. However, be prepared for a higher price, increased weight which impacts portability, and potentially shorter battery life due to its more demanding components. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511, while less expensive, has lower performance that might be sufficient for general use and lighter productivity tasks. It offers better portability due to its lighter weight and could have a longer battery life, making it a better option for users who prioritize those aspects and do not require high-end performance. The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511's screen may not provide the clarity and vividness needed for specialized tasks due to its fair resolution and brightness, but it's adequate for general activities like web browsing and document editing. How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Gigabyte Aero 5 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
