If budget is a primary concern and your needs are basic, such as web browsing, office applications, and streaming, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 would be a practical choice. However, if you engage in activities that demand high computational power, like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Gigabyte Aero 16, while more expensive, provides better performance suited to these tasks. Keep in mind the Gigabyte Aero 16 also offers a superior display, which might be important for creative professionals. The tradeoff with the Gigabyte is that you might find it less portable than the Dell due to being heavier and possibly having shorter battery life. Consider how you’ll be using your laptop – if you travel often or work remotely, portability and battery life could tip the scales towards the Dell. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Dell Inspiron's screen may suffice with decent resolution and brightness but may not stand out, while the Aero 16's higher resolution and brightness offer a more vibrant and sharp viewing experience. Engineering and design tasks benefit from the Aero 16's wider color gamuts providing accurate color representation, critical for professional design work, versus the Dell's limited color range. However, for gaming or 3D work, despite their good resolution and panel types, both models fall short due to lower refresh rates, which can hinder the smoothness of fast-paced visuals critical in these scenarios.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
