The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus offers a higher-resolution display and is suited for more intensive tasks such as 3D work, machine learning, or gaming due to its powerful processor and better graphics. Conversely, the HP 250 G10 is more budget-friendly and suitable for general use, but its performance may not meet the demands of heavy computing tasks. The Dell's build quality and higher-resolution screen excel for engineering and other high-resolution applications, but for everyday tasks and if affordability is a key consideration, the HP could be the preferable option. Keep in mind that the Dell is heavier, which might affect portability, but it also has a sturdier construction. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | August 2022
"The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is for power users on a budget. If you're looking to maximize CPU and GPU performance on your next 14-inch laptop, then consider the pricier Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14. If you're looking for a thin-and-light 14-inch Ultrabook, then the Asus Zenbook 14 or LG Gram 14 may be better options. For the best of both worlds, however, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420 rides a fine line between extreme performance and portability while keeping prices at reasonable levels. Frequent travelers who rely on performance beyond what the Core U-series and integrated graphics series can offer will find the Dell to be a solid solution."

Nikolay Palaozov | December 2023
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
