If battery life and a versatile display are priorities, the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 may suit you as it also offers a touchscreen and a 2-in-1 form factor which is good for general use and presentations. On the other hand, the MSI GF63 Thin, with its dedicated graphics card, is tailored for better performance in gaming and 3D tasks. The tradeoff is that the MSI has less storage and a shorter battery life compared to the Dell. Lastly, the Dell is slightly more expensive, but it offers better performance for engineering software compared to the MSI. Give Feedback

The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 has a better screen than the MSI GF63 Thin for software development, and content creation.
If you primarily use your laptop for browsing, media consumption, or office tasks, both the Dell Inspiron 14 and the MSI GF63 Thin offer screens that meet basic requirements, including adequate resolution and brightness, yet might not be as crisp or vibrant as higher-end displays. For engineering and design work, where accurate color representation is crucial, these laptops offer fair performance, but professionals might notice limitations in color range compared to screens with superior color gamut coverage. Gamers and 3D designers, on the other hand, may find these laptops lacking due to their lower refresh rates, which can result in less fluid visuals during fast-paced gaming or 3D rendering.

How the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the MSI GF63 Thin compare to other laptops
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
