The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 usually offers sturdier build quality and a better keyboard, making it a solid choice for business users who type a lot and value durability. The Dell Inspiron 14 may provide more value for those on a tighter budget, with adequate performance for everyday tasks. If you need your laptop to be more portable for frequent travel, the ThinkPad X13 often has a slight edge in terms of weight and compactness. On the other hand, if you prioritize longer unplugged usage, check the battery life specifications of each model as this can vary. For heavy graphics work or gaming, investigate the specific graphics capabilities, as different configurations can change which laptop is more suitable. Consider your primary use cases and balance these with your budget to make the best choice. Give Feedback

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | September 2023
"The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 G4 has very good input devices, a wide array of security features and ports as well as 5G in the tested configuration. It is more compact and lightweight compared with its predecessor, and it has improved speakers and a slightly better webcam. On the other hand, the fan is more annoying and the performance is barely improved. The battery is worse as well, but this is primarily attributable to the OLED screen - if this aspect is important, buyers should choose the IPS Low Power LCD."
