If you prioritize having a more portable and affordable laptop with good enough performance for general use like office tasks and web browsing, opt for the Dell Inspiron 14. However, if you need a high-performing machine for intensive 3D rendering, machine learning, gaming, or engineering software, and you are willing to invest more and accept a heavier and less portable laptop, the Lenovo Legion 7 is a better fit. Keep in mind that while the Legion 7 is more expensive, it offers superior performance for demanding tasks and a better display for gaming and creative work. Give Feedback

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | September 2022
"The Lenovo Legion 7 is a fast 16-inch gamer with 165 Hz display. The new Lenovo Legion 7 is a very good gaming notebook that, despite its comparatively compact compact 16-inch case, does not have to do without the most powerful components. Thanks to good cooling, no compromises are made in terms of performance. Both the Core i9-12900HX and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti perform at a very high level."
