The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 typically offers more powerful hardware and a more compact design, making it well-suited for tasks that require more computing power like 3D design, machine learning or gaming while also being more portable. However, it being more expensive means you are paying a premium for these capabilities. On the other hand, the HP 17" Laptop likely provides a larger screen and potentially better comfort for long sessions of general use or watching media but its larger size makes it less portable. If budget is a concern and your tasks are mostly general use without intensive software requirements, the HP 17" Laptop may be the more cost-effective option. Give Feedback

The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 has a better screen than the HP 17" Laptop for software development, and content creation, while the HP 17" Laptop has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
If you prioritize a sharp and vivid display for everyday tasks, neither the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 nor the HP 17" Laptop will offer the highest resolution or the brightest panels which could make them less ideal for rich media consumption and productivity. Professionals in engineering and design may find these laptops lacking in color accuracy due to their limited color gamut, which is crucial for precise work that demands true-to-life color representation. For gaming and 3D applications, the slower refresh rates on both models may result in less fluid motion and slower response times during high-paced scenarios compared to models with higher refresh rate screens.

How the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the HP 17" Laptop compare to other laptops
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
"As far as starter laptops go, the HP Laptop 17 is a sound investment. Sure, it might not be the lightest of options, but what you get for the price is a well-rounded machine that fits multiple niches. Whether it be office duties that require you to multi-task between multiple programs, or study tasks in which you’ll spend hours browsing online, this laptop does it all. Plus, when it's time to unwind, you can watch your favorite shows or movies on a super-wide display. What's best of all is that you can do all this for about half a day on a single charge."
