If you prioritize portability and longer battery life for general use and prefer a touchscreen, the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 would be a suitable choice, especially given its lower price point. On the other hand, if you need higher performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive gaming, and are prepared to invest more, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H stands out with its robust hardware, although it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less convenient for frequent travel. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
If you're mainly using your laptop for everyday tasks like browsing and office work, the Dell Inspiron's screen will suffice, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H's superior resolution and brightness boost your viewing experience. For engineering and design work requiring accurate colors, the Gigabyte's better color gamut coverage gives you more precise visuals, although the Dell still delivers acceptable quality for less color-critical tasks. On the other hand, for fast-paced 3D gaming, both laptops may not provide the smoothest experience due to lower refresh rates, with the Gigabyte potentially offering slightly better resolution and panel type benefits.

How the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
