The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 is more portable and less expensive than the Gigabyte Aero 16, and it has a decent performance for general use including a touchscreen feature. However, the Aero 16 offers superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks with a more powerful processor and graphics card, but at a higher cost and with reduced battery life and portability. It also has a higher-resolution screen which is better for creative work, though it lacks a touchscreen. If budget and portability are priorities, and you're engaged in typical everyday tasks, the Dell may suit you better. For intensive gaming, creative or engineering applications, the Gigabyte may be the better choice despite its higher price and lower portability. Give Feedback

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."

Tom's Hardware

Isaac Rouse | May 2022
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
