The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 is more than just a laptop; it transforms into a tablet, enhancing its versatility for on-the-go use and creative tasks. It has a higher quality display which could enhance your viewing experience. With its lightweight and compact design, it offers increased portability, but this comes at a higher cost. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is less expensive and features a larger screen, providing a more comfortable view for extended work sessions, but it lacks the 2-in-1 functionality. This one may better suit users seeking a traditional laptop experience and needing to manage a tighter budget. Both laptops have similar storage capacities and operating systems, but different processors, so consider if you prioritize AMD over Intel, or vice versa, based on your specific application needs. The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 have similar screen quality.
For general use, both the Dell Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15 have panels that provide adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming, but they may lack the crispness and vibrancy found in higher-end displays. In engineering and design, their screens may not cover the wider color gamuts like DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB fully, which could limit color accuracy for professional editing work. Meanwhile, lower refresh rates on these models can hinder the smoothness demanded by gaming and 3D applications, where faster screens can greatly enhance the visual experience.

How the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 compare to other laptops
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
