The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 offers higher-end performance with a better processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering applications. It also boasts a higher quality OLED display with touch capabilities, better color accuracy, and higher contrast, catering to those who work with visuals and prefer a premium screen. However, it comes at a higher price and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the MSI Katana 15 is more cost-effective with adequate performance for general use and gaming, offering a high refresh rate display, though with less impressive color accuracy and screen resolution. It's lighter and slightly more portable with a longer battery life than the Asus, making it a better option for those who value mobility and do not require top-tier performance. Give Feedback

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is very good for general use, while the MSI Katana 15 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels in general use due to its superior CPU, ample RAM, high-quality OLED screen, and longer battery life, making it very suitable for a variety of demanding tasks, although it's less portable due to its weight. The MSI Katana 15, with a good CPU for less intensive tasks, decent screen, enough RAM for everyday applications, and lighter weight, offers a balanced option for general use, but has a shorter battery life and a simpler display, reflecting in its portability and overall suitability.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is excellent for engineering and design, while the MSI Katana 15 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels for engineering and design thanks to its high-performance Intel i9 processor, ample 32GB of RAM, and powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, coupled with a top-notch OLED screen, offering exquisite quality and resolution, perfect for detail-oriented tasks. The MSI Katana 15, while still adequate for engineering and design with its Intel i5 processor, 16GB of RAM, Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, and good IPS screen, doesn't match the ZenBook's specifications, making it more suited for less demanding engineering tasks and offering better portability due to its lighter weight.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen than the MSI Katana 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 has a high-resolution display that provides crisp and vivid images, making it excellent for general use and tasks that require attention to fine detail, like engineering and design, thanks to its wide color gamut coverage. However, its screen refresh rate is lower, which can make fast-moving images in gaming and 3D applications less smooth. On the other hand, the MSI Katana 15 offers adequate resolution and brightness suitable for everyday tasks and professional work, but similar to the ASUS, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a modest refresh rate that can't keep up with the demands of high-speed graphics.

How the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and the MSI Katana 15 compare to other laptops
"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
"The MSI Katana 15 B12 combines a Gen12 CPU with an RTX 4050, which is actually not a bad idea for a budget gamer. The CPU is anything but bad and the GPU in the Katana 15 proves to be significantly more efficient than last year's models. However, our main point of criticism for budget gamers is the price: while you can get budget laptops with RTX 3060 from around US$800, you pay a whole US$1,499.99 here! The efficiency advantages of the RTX 4050 do not justify this price premium."
