If portability and battery life are not your top concerns and you primarily need a powerful machine for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or other intensive engineering applications, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 with its higher-end processor and graphics card excels, but comes at a higher price. However, if you're looking for a more affordable option that's lighter and more portable, and provides decent performance for general use and gaming, the MSI Cyborg 15 may be suitable despite having lower storage capacity and less powerful hardware compared to the ASUS. The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is excellent for engineering and design, while the MSI Cyborg 15 is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 outshines the MSI Cyborg 15 in engineering and design due to its superior CPU, double the RAM, more powerful GPU, and a higher-quality OLED screen with better resolution and color accuracy, which are crucial for intensive tasks and precise design work. While the MSI Cyborg 15 is lighter and thus more portable, it offers less power and screen quality, which could limit performance in demanding engineering and design applications, despite being quieter in operation and offering a high refresh rate display which is less relevant for non-gaming professional use.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you're focused on general usage involving web browsing, document editing, or media consumption, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15's high resolution and bright display will be more visually pleasing than the MSI Cyborg 15. For engineering and design tasks that demand color accuracy, the ZenBook's wider color gamuts will ensure more precise and vibrant color representation, which is crucial for professional work. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fast-paced visuals are key, the lower refresh rate of the ZenBook might not deliver as smooth an experience as a laptop with a higher refresh rate, despite other screen qualities.

"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
