When choosing between the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and the Gigabyte A5, consider how you will use the laptop. The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels in performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming due to its higher end specifications and dual-screen feature which may enhance productivity, but this comes at a higher cost and with less portability. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A5 offers respectable performance at a more affordable price, making it suitable for general use and gaming, but may not be as capable for highly demanding tasks. Battery life also differs, with the ASUS typically providing less compared to the Gigabyte due to its powerful components. If you highly value portability and longer battery life for everyday tasks and occasional gaming, the Gigabyte A5 could be your choice, whereas if your work requires top-tier performance and you can afford it, the ASUS is a formidable option. The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and Gigabyte A5 are both good for gaming and AI, though the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is somewhat better.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 offers an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU with a 60 Hz OLED touchscreen, ideal for high-quality visuals in gaming and 3D applications, but less suited for fast-paced games due to the lower refresh rate. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A5 with an Nvidia RTX 3060 and a 144 Hz IPS non-touch screen provides smoother gameplay for quick reflex games despite the lower screen pixel density and less vibrant color reproduction compared to the ASUS.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen than the Gigabyte A5 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When considering screen quality for general use, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels due to its high-resolution display and great brightness, which offer crisp, vibrant experiences during everyday tasks. For engineering and design, this laptop's screens also shine because they cover a wider range of colors, which is crucial for professionals who require color accuracy for their work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the ASUS' lower refresh rate compared to specialized gaming laptops makes fast-paced visuals less smooth, whereas the Gigabyte A5, despite having good resolution and decent brightness for general tasks, falls short in both color range for design tasks and refresh rate for gaming.

"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
