Choosing between the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 will depend on your needs and preferences. If you prefer a larger screen and prioritize storage capacity, processing power with more RAM for intensive multitasking, and a higher quality keyboard, the ASUS may be the better fit despite being slightly heavier and less portable. On the other hand, if portability and a better balance between performance and weight are more important to you, the Lenovo might be ideal, offering a higher refresh rate for smoother visuals and a smaller form factor that's easier to carry. Both have solid build quality and are equipped for gaming and demanding applications, but the ASUS leans more towards creative professionals while the Lenovo offers a more balanced package for various uses, including gaming, with a slightly longer battery life. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 offers a superior screen size and better CPU, making it very good for general use with its ample screen real estate and higher processing power, along with a robust battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a more portable design and is still good for general use, but its smaller screen and marginally lesser CPU performance compared to the ASUS make it slightly less ideal for tasks that demand large visual workspace and more intensive processing. Additionally, both laptops boast good build quality and efficient heat management, but the Lenovo edges out slightly in speaker and keyboard quality, which may enhance the general user experience.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
