When considering the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 and the HP 14" Laptop, if high performance for tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, or gaming is important to you, and you don't mind a larger, less portable device with a potentially shorter battery life, the ASUS could be a better investment. However, if you're looking for an economical option that's easier to carry, with generally sufficient performance for everyday use like web browsing, document editing, and media consumption, the HP might suit your needs while being gentler on your wallet. Keep in mind that the less expensive HP may not perform as well with demanding software compared to the ASUS. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 has a better screen than the HP 14" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 boasts a higher resolution and brightness, enhancing the display for general use and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate is less ideal for fast-paced gaming and 3D applications. The HP 14" Laptop offers satisfactory resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and some engineering software but falls short for professional design and high-end gaming due to limited color accuracy and slower refresh rates. For those seeking precision in color-sensitive projects, the Zenbook's wider color gamut is superior, whereas the HP may suffice for less demanding engineering tasks but is not recommended for serious gaming or 3D work.

"This feels like an ideal laptop for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on a laptop and isn’t too bothered by things like build quality or construction. It’s a laptop that will be used to pay bills, keep track of expenses, do some online shopping, and will be tucked away in a spare bedroom/home office. It’s an appliance designed to do a job without fuss. It’s not a premium experience—the materials do feel a little cheap, the display won’t exactly wow you, and the battery life is nothing to write home about, especially if you’ve used more expensive devices. But overall it’s not too shabby, especially for the price."
