The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X offers a larger OLED screen with higher resolution and touch capability, which is beneficial for creative tasks and enjoying media, yet it is less portable and has a shorter battery life compared to the MSI Stealth GS66. The MSI Stealth GS66, on the other hand, has a higher refresh rate display which is favorable for gaming, and it boasts better portability and heat management. If your main tasks include engineering, 3D modeling, or machine learning, both laptops will perform well; the MSI might handle faster paced games better while the ASUS excels in vibrant display and connectivity options with multiple Thunderbolt ports. Choose the ASUS for creative work with a need for high-resolution touch display, or the MSI for improved gaming experience and portability. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X provides a vibrant and sharp display with its high resolution and bright panel, likely superior to the MSI Stealth GS66, although the latter also offers good display characteristics for everyday tasks. In engineering and design, the Zenbook's wider color gamuts ensure more accurate color representation, which is essential for professionals, but the Stealth GS66 still offers decent color range for less demanding design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fast motion is common, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, which can make fast-moving images appear less smooth compared to laptops with higher refresh rates.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
