The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is designed for professionals and creators, offering higher performance and a premium build quality, which is reflected in its price. It's ideal for intensive tasks like video editing, 3D rendering, and design work. Its superior screen and build could justify the expense if those are priorities for your work. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is targeted towards gamers and provides good performance at a more affordable price, but with typically shorter battery life and a bulkier design. For demanding games or tasks that require a powerful GPU, it's a solid option. Consider the ASUS if your work demands a top-of-the-line screen and build, and you're willing to invest more. Opt for the Lenovo if you prioritize gaming and value for money over ultimate performance and sleek design. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is very good for general use, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X is rated very good for general use due to its high-quality OLED screen, a powerful Intel CPU, ample RAM, and a substantial battery capacity, making it suitable for a range of tasks with a portable design despite its larger screen. In comparison, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" also offers a decent AMD CPU and enough RAM for general use, but it has a lower resolution IPS screen and shorter battery life, positioning it more as a gaming laptop that still manages everyday tasks well but sacrifices some portability and screen finesse.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X has a high-resolution display with impressive brightness and vibrant colors making it ideal for general use and engineering design tasks that require accurate color representation. However, it has a lower refresh rate which is less optimal for gaming and 3D applications that benefit from smoother visuals. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" also offers a bright, high-resolution panel suitable for general tasks and has decent color coverage for design work, but like the ASUS it falls short for gaming due to its less-than-ideal refresh rate.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
