The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X offers a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card, which is better for 3D work, machine learning, and gaming, but with the tradeoff of being heavier and having less battery life compared to the Dell XPS 13 Plus. The Dell XPS 13 Plus, on the other hand, is more portable with a longer battery life, and it has more RAM, which could make multitasking smoother, but it relies on integrated graphics, which are less powerful for graphics-intensive tasks. They're similarly priced, so if portability and battery life are top priorities, the Dell is the better choice, whereas if you need better graphics performance, the ASUS is the way to go. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X provides a balance of high resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks, but its refresh rate isn't geared toward the fast-paced visuals required by gamers or 3D designers. How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X and the Dell XPS 13 Plus compare to other laptops
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
