If you are looking for a high-performance laptop for tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, or gaming, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15, despite being more expensive, offers better performance and may be well-suited to your needs. However, if portability and battery life are important to you, and you are mainly using the laptop for general use or less power-intensive engineering tasks, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" provides a balance between performance and affordability, though it might not match the high performance of the ASUS. The ASUS is a premium option, while the Lenovo offers good value for money. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 excels in general use and engineering with its high-resolution display and excellent color accuracy covering wide color gamuts, ensuring vibrant and precise visuals critical for design work, but its lower refresh rate limits the smoothness necessary for high-end gaming and 3D applications. The Lenovo Legion 5 15", while offering good overall screen quality and decent color coverage for engineering tasks, may not match the ASUS's level of detail or color fidelity, yet the difference in gaming and 3D performance could be negligible, given both have a less favorable refresh rate. For users focusing on productivity, creative tasks, and the best visual fidelity, the ASUS stands out, but the Lenovo offers a balanced option at the expense of some screen quality in specialized applications.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
