The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is a midrange laptop with a robust processor suitable for engineering tasks and creative work, complemented by a discrete graphics card for 3D rendering and casual gaming. Its OLED screen provides a rich color experience but keep in mind it's heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is a budget-friendly option that's notably lighter and may suffice for general usage and light productivity tasks. However, its integrated graphics and lower-tier processor make it less suited for intensive applications or gaming. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 are both good for general use, though the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 outperforms the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use due to its superior CPU and double the RAM, which provide faster and smoother operations, alongside a higher-quality OLED screen that delivers vibrant colors and contrasts. While both have similar portability, the ASUS has a longer battery life, enhancing its on-the-go usage; however, the Lenovo offers quieter operation and better heat management, making it more comfortable to use for extended periods, albeit with lower performance and screen quality.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 excels in screen quality for general use and engineering due to its high resolution and brightness, which enhance image clarity and detail, along with wide color gamuts that ensure accurate color reproduction vital for design tasks. However, its lower refresh rate detracts from the gaming experience, where smoother motion is essential. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3's fair screen quality is adequate for casual use and non-specialized engineering work, but its limited color range and less impressive resolution and brightness don't quite meet the higher standards required for professional design and the fast-paced visuals in gaming.

How the ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 offers a strong CPU, chassis, and display. One of the most popular 15.6-inch prosumer or multimedia laptops out there is the Dell XPS 15. Thus, comparisons between it and the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 are inevitable. Asus has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that XPS users are still missing out on including 1080p OLED and an AMD Ryzen CPU which help separate the Zenbook Pro 15 from the XPS 15. It also integrates a numpad and a few more port options albeit at the cost of a larger chassis size."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
