The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is at an upper midrange price, boasting high performance for engineering tasks, and vibrant screen colors suitable for design work. Comparatively, the Gigabyte A5 is priced lower, offering strong performance for engineering and suitability for intensive gaming, but it is bulkier and may not have the same level of color accuracy as the ASUS. If portability and screen color fidelity are vital to you, consider the ASUS. However, if you prioritize gaming abilities or are on a tighter budget, the Gigabyte A5 would be a sound choice. How the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 and the Gigabyte A5 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
