For general use with a need for better battery life, the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 offers a longer time between charges. If high performance for 3D, machine learning, or engineering tasks is vital, the Dell XPS 13 Plus, despite having a shorter battery life, provides more computing power due to its processor. The XPS 13's keyboard and build quality are also rated higher, enhancing the user experience, especially for typing-intensive tasks. The ASUS, however, offers more storage space out-of-the-box. Both being similarly priced and ultraportable, your choice should hinge on whether performance or battery life and storage is more critical for your needs. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for general use, while the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 is good.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a superior general use experience with its more powerful processor, double the amount of RAM, and an OLED screen with a higher resolution and larger color contrast ratio, enhancing multitasking and visual tasks, though its battery capacity is smaller than that of the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13. Meanwhile, the ASUS provides ample storage, a robust battery life, and a high-quality IPS display that, while not as vibrant as the Dell's, still delivers sharp imagery and color accuracy, along with a slightly more compact and lighter design for easier portability.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 offers crisp resolution and adequate brightness for everyday tasks, while its color coverage appeals to engineering and design work, but its refresh rate is low, limiting its appeal for gaming and 3D applications. Dell's XPS 13 Plus excels due to its higher resolution and brighter display for general purposes, and a wide color gamut that benefits engineers and designers looking for color accuracy, but like the ASUS, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a modest refresh rate. Overall, both laptops excel in providing sharp, vibrant displays for productivity and professional design, but gamers and 3D artists need to consider alternative options with faster screen refresh rates to avoid visual lag or stutter.

How the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 and the Dell XPS 13 Plus compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
