The ASUS Zenbook Duo offers a unique dual-screen setup which is fantastic for multitasking and creative work, but it's slightly pricier and heavier than the Samsung. It has a robust Intel i7 processor and a high-quality IPS display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800, making it suitable for engineering tasks and general use. However, its battery life is shorter at 8.5 hours, and it's less portable due to its weight and thickness.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is a versatile 2-in-1 device with a vibrant OLED display, also with a resolution of 2880 x 1800, delivering superior contrast and color accuracy, which is great for media consumption and general use. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, which may not match the raw power of the Intel i7 for intensive tasks but offers excellent efficiency for longer battery life of 10 hours. It's also lighter and thinner, making it more portable and suitable for those who are always on the move.
If you prioritize performance for tasks like engineering or content creation and don't mind a bulkier device, the ASUS could be the way to go. But if you value portability, battery life, and a versatile 2-in-1 design with an exceptional display for general use and media consumption, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 would be the better choice. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
