If you prioritize portability and battery life for general use such as web browsing, office applications, or media consumption, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its longer battery life and lower weight is a strong option. It also has a unique dual-screen feature that may benefit multitasking. On the other hand, if your preference leans towards more demanding tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the MSI Raider GE77Hx with its more powerful graphics card, higher resolution, and faster refresh rate display will deliver better performance, at the expense of being heavier and having a shorter battery life. Keep in mind the MSI Raider also has a better keyboard and a larger screen, but this comes with a higher price point. If cost is a significant factor and your needs are for everyday activities, the ASUS might be the better choice, while the MSI should be considered if your budget allows and you require high performance for specialized tasks. "The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
