If portability and battery life are top priorities, the LG Gram 16 has a lighter build and longer battery life, making it suitable for on-the-go use. However, if productivity on dual screens and better screen colors matter, the ASUS Zenbook Duo offers a unique secondary touchscreen and higher color coverage, but it's heavier and has shorter battery runtime. The ASUS might be better for multitasking with its dual screens, whereas the LG Gram is more straightforward and cost-effective for general use. Both have similar performance capabilities with their Intel i7 processors and integrated graphics, adequate for everyday tasks, some engineering software, and casual gaming, but not high-end gaming or the most intensive 3D tasks. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the LG Gram 16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
