The ASUS Zenbook Duo is a midrange and higher-priced laptop with unique dual-screen functionality that's well-suited for multitasking and creative endeavors, offering a secondary touchscreen above the keyboard. It stands out with a higher refresh rate for smoother visuals, better contrast, and wider color coverage, which benefits color-sensitive work. However, it compromises on weight, making it less portable than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i. On the other side, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i is more budget-friendly and lighter in weight, enhancing its portability. It has a larger main display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is advantageous for productivity, but its screen may not be as vibrant or smooth as the ASUS due to its lower brightness, refresh rate, and color gamut. Additionally, the performance of the Lenovo may be less suited to demanding applications given its less powerful processor and integrated graphics. Therefore, if your tasks are graphics-intensive and you value screen quality and multitasking features, consider the ASUS Zenbook Duo despite its heavier weight and higher cost. If you prioritize affordability, portability, and a larger main screen for everyday tasks, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i might be the right choice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

Robin Sinha | February 2021
"The device is made for average work loads and if your work has a lot to do with online browsing, using apps that are not power-hungry and streaming videos. The looks are really good and the device in itself is not a heavy one. And with Intel 11th-gen Core processor, you might sail through most of your work without complaints."
