If you're looking for superior performance, especially for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering applications, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its higher-end processor and advanced integrated graphics would serve you well, albeit at a higher price. On the other hand, the HP 250 G10, being significantly less expensive, can handle general use adequately but is less suitable for intensive tasks due to its basic processor and graphics. The ASUS also boasts a higher-resolution touchscreen with better color coverage, which can benefit creative professionals, but this comes with reduced portability due to its weight and shorter battery life. Conversely, the HP offers greater portability with a lighter build and modest battery life, making it a solid choice for everyday tasks like web browsing and office work on a budget. The ASUS's dual-screen feature might also intrigue multitaskers or content creators looking for innovative workflows, while the HP keeps things simple with a regular single screen. Choose the ASUS if your budget allows and you need a laptop for more demanding use, or opt for the HP if you prefer affordability with competent performance for standard computing needs. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the HP 250 G10 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The HP 250 G10 is a decent budget device that surprises us with its high CPU frequencies under load. Still, our configuration has a Core i5-1335U which doesn’t require significant cooling, if choose a 28W P-series processor, maybe the situation with the clocks could be different. If you want to play some casual game after work, a memory in dual-channel is a must because it increases greatly the iGPU performance."
